Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadhel

Abdul Rahman is a chemical engineer has 35 years of Refining Operations, Maintenance and Engineering experience with Saudi Aramco.

He participated and managed many mega projects and more than 10 T&ls and shutdowns In Saudi Aramco.

He is a member of Saudi Council of Engineers as a Consultant. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He assumed leadership positions of both Operation and Maintenance departments in:

1) Riyadh refinery, the most complex and highest profit Saudi Aramco refinery according to Solomon associate ranking.

2) Ras Tanura Refinery, the biggest Saudi Aramco Refinery (550 MBD)

He is currently the manager of Saudi Aramco Riyadh Refinery since 2012. Riyadh refinery went through great Performance transformation in term of performance, profitability and energy efficiency according to the Solomon associate studies which is performed every 2 years for more than 350 Refineries all over the world.

- According to the latest study, Riyadh Refinery scored 1st quartile in 70% of the Solomon indices.

Eng. Feras Ajairi

Sr. Manager - Engineering, Arasco, KSA

Feras Ajairi is the Sr. Engineering Manager of ARASCO-Feed. During his 9-years tenure, Feras oversaw ARASCO-Feed Projects & lead the team toward improving the operational efficiency to reach the manufacturing excellence. Before this role, Feras was Sr. Project Manager where he successfully managed PMO that resulted in improving the mode of operation, supply chain, and building new feed mills plants & Port strategic storages with the most advance technology in order to increase the production & storage capacity by 300%.
Feras graduated from University of Toledo (Ohio, USA) and holds master degree in Business administration & BS in Mechanical Engineering. Moreover, Feras has a diploma from Swiss Institute of Feed Technology (Uzwil, Switzerland) as a certified Feed Production Engineering. In addition to his duty, Feras doing his second master degree in Construction Engineering & Management at KFUPM, Saudi Arabia. 

Dr. Anil Khurana

Anil Khurana leads PwC’s strategy & innovation and industrials & energy practices in the Middle East. He is also a member of PwC’s global leadership teams in innovation, new ventures, industry 4.0, industrials, and aviation and transport. Since 2016 Mr Khurana has co-led the global Industry 4.0 survey, a study of industrial businesses, and has led the Annual Global Cities Innovation Index jointly with Dubai’s government. Before joining consulting in 2006, he was an operating partner with the Chatterjee Group, a private-equity firm in New York. From 1992 to 1999 he taught technology and operations in the United States, and before this he worked for 7 years with the Indian government and Indian Railways.

Niels Hougaard

Managing Director TP Arabia & Cluster Leader Sales Management GMEA, Tetra Park, KSA

Niels Hougaard is the Managing Director of Tetra Pak Arabia Area and Cluster Leader, Sales Management. Having a background in the Danish dairy industry he joined Tetra Pak in 1995 as a Product Manager. He worked several roles in processing, business development and international key account management before joining Tetra Pak Saudi Arabia in 2003, where his last position was Sales Director for the larger Tetra Pak Arabia. In 2010 he left to Switzerland to take a global role as Director Strategic Account Management. Niels next move was Managing Director Tetra Pak Nordics before he again returned to Arabia Area for his current role.

Niels holds a M.Sc in dairy science and technology, an E-MBA from Copenhagen Business School and various certificates from IMD, University of St. Gallen and Columbia Business School.

Kari Terho

Kari Terho is General Manager, Elisa Smart Factory at New Business Development in Elisa Corporation, the leading ITC service provider in Finland.  Kari joined Elisa as Vice President and Head of Fixed and mobile Network Services in 2008 for Corporate Customers.

Prior to joining to Elisa, Kari held various director positions in the Sales and Business Development in TeliaSonera, the most recent being Director of Business Development for TeliaSonera IES SME Marketing and Offering.

Earlier he has worked as Business Development Director at Yomi Sortware Ltd. and held the EMEA E-Services Business Development Manager position at Hewlett-Packard GmBH as well as the E-Commerce Marketing Manager position at Hewlett-Packard, Finland. He also has several years of experience working for different IT companies.

Ahmad Al Gendy

Manufacturing Excellence Head, Al Khaleej Sugar, UAE

Dr. Ahmad Wassim is the Group Manufacturing Excellence Head at Al-Khaleej Sugar since September 2017. Before this, he was the Regional Manufacturing & Supply Chain director for Construction Company in UAE.

Dr. Ahmad started her career at GSK as a junior pharmacist in the Production Division. In 1999 he took over the management in tablets production operations at Glaxo Wellcome (GW) Egypt. By Y 2K, with the global Merger of GW & SB, he became a Lean-Six Sigma Master Black belt and started Operational excellence implementation in GSK Egypt. Subsequently from 2003 to 2007, he became the GSK International Division Operational Excellence Leader, responsible for roll-out & implementation of the “Vision-Factory” configuration across the division, including Turkey, Australia, Japan, Asia Pacific & MENA.

He has an exceptional background and experience managing the end to end Supply Chain operations across both manufacturing as well as service organizations over the last 25 years through working in many countries, across the Asia Pacific and Europe and Middle East, as well as amongst different industries & organizational cultures including Electrolux, Samsung, IFFCO, and Hepworth P.M.E LLC.

Dr. Ahmad’s education includes a B.Sc. Pharmacy, and an MBA followed by DBA specializing in Operations Management from Westbrook University in Canada.

Passionate about continuous learning & education, knowledge sharing as well as part of his commitment to CSR, Dr. Ahmad has been working as a Free-Lance trainer & business consultant for many years, as well as a part-time faculty member in different universities (AUC / AUE / GU).
